Yes, a switch lets you start from net or gross, the other amount and the VAT are recomputed.
How is the net computed from the gross?
The gross is divided by 1 + rate ⁄ 100; VAT is the difference between gross and net.
Are my amounts sent to a server?
No, the calculation is entirely local in your browser.
